Enjoying a relaxing weekend outing, Jessica Stroup was looking darling as she ventured out in West Hollywood, California on Saturday (April 17).
Opting to grab up lunch at La Conversation, the Erin Silver actress chowed down on a tasty meal before giving her companion a big hug and continuing along with the day.
Last weekend, Miss Stroup kept busy at a party hosted by actress Brittany Snow - which also drew out Disney darling Vanessa Hudgens.
The gals all took part in Kathy Kaehler’s private Sunday Set-Up cooking class before being gifted with cool swag including underwater video cameras, shoes, watches and shorts.

Actress Jessica Stroup is known for her roles in films like The Hills Have Eye II and on CW show 90210. Jessica made the bold choice to cut her long locks off, which paid off because she’s never looked better. Her short hairstyle fits her heart-shaped face perfectly. Even with a short and sassy cut, Jessica keeps her short bob looking new by revamping it with subtle changes.

Jennie Garth may have announced she’s leaving the revived 90210, but she’s not gone for good—at least not if onscreen half-sis Jessica Stroup has anything to do with it!

“There’s no saying she’s never going to come back,” Stroup recently told us. “She’s my sister. She will come back…I’m going to make it happen!”

But getting Kelly Taylor back to West Bev isn’t all Stroup’s character, Silver, has to worry about. She still has plenty of high school dramz going on, including a juicy love triangle with ex-beau Dixon (Tristan Wilds) and campus heartthrob/player Teddy (Trevor Donovan). Read more… »

When 90210, the beloved ’90s teen soap, relaunched last fall, it was treated like chum by critics and media sharks. Only now, in its second season, is the show living up to its hype, stepping out from the shadow of Shannen and Tori, and embracing a lighter, frothier high school experience. Leading the charge is Jessica Stroup, the 23-year-old actress who plays the bipolar Erin Silver, Kelly Taylor’s half-sister.
Stroup, who skipped out on her own high school graduation to film a Target commercial (“In my mind, I was so cool,” she says), moved from Charlotte, North Carolina, to Los Angeles when she was 17 years old. “When I came out here,” she says, “I was a baby. I was kind of naïve and just going with it.”
Luckily, innocence is a trait directors admire, especially when it comes to horror flicks. In the last few years, Stroup has stretched her vocal cords, filling cinemas with her high-pitched screams in Prom Night, The Hills Have Eyes 2 and Homecoming (not to mention Bret Easton Ellis’ unintentionally horrifying The Informers). Although she has enjoyed the scary movie experience, she perks up as soon as the conversation turns to future roles. “A dark comedy,” she says, when asked what she’d like to do next. “Being funny. That’s the most terrifying thing for me.”

Jessica Stroup comes out to support her 90210 co-star AnnaLynne McCord at Variety’s 3rd annual “Power of Youth” event held at Paramount Studios on Saturday (December 5) in Los Angeles.
The event focused on encouraging young talent to become involved with philanthropic and humanitarian causes, using their positions in popular culture to motivate others to do the same. This years’ party had nine-foot-tall stiltwalkers, unicycled jugglers, poplocking dancers and face-painted rollerskaters

Jessica Stroup flashes her pearly whites at Puma’s African Bazaar, held at Los Angeles’ Historic 5410 Wilshire Building on Wednesday (November 11).
The 23-year-old 90210 star, who paired a Wren jacket with an Enza Costa top and Seven for All Mankind Gwenevere jeans, recently told Creators Syndicate that recent episodes of 90210 have been difficult to shoot, with her character’s mother battling cancer.
“[Ann Gillespie] played it beautifully,” Jess said. “It was so honest and real, you’d get caught up in it, forget you’re acting and just watch. I was crying in the whole scene. I couldn’t stop crying.”

Jessica Stroup shows off her gorgeous gams in a Chloe dress at the 2009 Voice Awards at Paramount Studios on Wednesday (October 14) in Los Angeles.
The Voice Awards recognizes writers and producers who have given a voice to people with mental health problems by incorporating dignified, respectful, and accurate portrayals of these individuals into television and film productions.
The 22-year-old actress, who sparkled in House of Lavande jewels, accepted an award on behalf of CW’s 90210 for the episodes “Off the Rails” and “Okaeri, Donna!” (they addressed bipolar disorder).
